Framus Flame Maple More Info Brand:   Information: Quite a few years ago now, the Framus company (now Warwick) of W. Germany, introduced several very high quality and therefore expensive acoustic models, some of which were electric also. This is one of them! This was at the top of the range, and retailed for silly almost American money, consequently few were sold as the price for the UK market, notwithstanding the quality, was simply too high! This one is in near perfect almost unplayed condition, is built out of solid flame maple to the back, with solid german spruce, the best in the world, to the top. Sides are also flame maple, although laminated for strength.Finish is in nicely aged antique natural, which has become a lovely golden colour which the pics really don't do justice to! Abalone binding to the body, with fancy pearl and abalone block markers to the fretboard. Fishman active pre-amp, the best available at the time, and the tuners are Grover gold rotomatics.  The guitar has a new hard case included in the price, also free delivery to the uk, subsidised elsewhere.
